The rural pub, The Harp in East Peckham, has been offering striptease entertainment for around six years, with little opposition.
However, with the introduction of the new licensing
regime in the borough, the licensee has applied for a licence which received 43 objections. Details of the reasons for the bar are to follow but it seems that these will be along the lines that striptease is immoral in a rural setting.
The venue
is now set to close on 30th June.
