The owner of an Aberdeen lap dancing club shut down by officials is aiming to reopen it.
Aberdeen Council revoked' the club's licence after a violent assault on a customer by a members of
staff suggested that the club was being run like a clip joint.
The owner of The Mask, Eric Chiong, has launched a legal appeal against the decision and he hopes to have the club reopened as soon as possible.

Aberdeen city council has revoked the licence for The Mask after a request from Police Scotland. The police claimed that staff were watering down drinks and overcharging customers for intimate shows.
Apart from
the overcharging and diluted drinks allegations, police were also concerned that the club was breaching licensing conditions by having no personal licence holder present after 1am and no one able to operate the CCTV system.
A club manager was
charged with assault after injuring a customer who disputed his drinks bill.
